"Christmas" in Vancouver

The sky at dusk on Christmas Eve.

Looking across the park to some Christmas lights.

Duane's parents are over here for Christmas & we all went out for Xmas Brunch at the Waterfront Fairmont Hotel. The hotel was kind of fancy and they had a huge selection of dishes ranging from classic Xmas dishes to Sushi & Dim Sum's. After brunch we went for a walk along the waterfront then up through Robson St, a few of the shops were open today, which is sort of weird considering almost everywhere was closed before 6pm last night including the liquor store & supermarket.

Last minute Christmas shopping at the 7 eleven.

Christmas Day

Xmas trees in a window.

Canada Place Information Center with snow capped mountains in the background.

The view from the waterfront across the harbour to North Vancouver & the mountains.

Writing in the ice.

Duane leaving his hand impressions in the ice.

The Ice & Duane's parents.

Duane sliding on the ice. Near the end of the video you can hear a beggar asking for change, we gave her some since it was Christmas.

Merry Christmas!!!

Another Christmas Tree.

Another of the many eagle sculptures around downtown, this one with salmon on it.

The Vancouver Art Gallery & other buildings.
